Performance and Management System (PMS)

Building and nurturing a performance-based culture in which employees are able to achieve their personal objectives while being recognized for their contributions is a major driver for success of the company. Clearly, the performance of employees is an important element in improving the organization’s performance.
This HR engagement will entail crafting a Performance Management System for the company. With Management’s support, the PMS can be an effective tool in achieving organizational plans and objectives, and that employees’ performances are managed for continuous improvement, both for the employees and the company.
Scope of Work
Key Deliverables Consultant’s Agenda
Design of PMS Framework Interview/meeting with HR Manager; gather data on current
performance appraisal, if any.
Crafting of PMS Develop PMS guidelines, process and forms
1st Draft of the Revised PMS Presentation of draft to HR Manager or process owner;
incorporate changes given by HR Manager or process owner into the PMS
Final Report Present PMS to senior management for approval; make changes, if any
Other projects recommended for the effective implementation of the PMS:
1. Workshop In Objective Setting for Managers
In this 2-day workshop, managers learn to set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely) objectives. At the end of the workshop, they will be able to come-up with their performance objectives based on strategies and objectives set by senior management.
2. Workshop in Performance Monitoring, Coaching and Counselling
In this 2-day workshop, managers will be able to build and/or enhance their skills in performance feedback giving, coaching and counselling. These are useful skills in monitoring and improving the performance of subordinates.
