Course Description
This course is an introduction to the basic concepts and quantitative techniques used in statistical analysis toward the application of these principles in specific problems in managerial research and decision-making. This covers research design, descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and multivariate analysis of statistical relationships, with an emphasis on explaining statistical relationships.

Resource Person: Mr. Victor Agbayani
VICTOR E. AGBAYANI was a faculty member at the Department of Business Management of the Ateneo de Manila University from 1985 to 1998. He taught the subjects Human Behavior in Organizations, Business Statistics, and Operations Management.
He returned to the academe in 2013 and currently lectures in the Ateneo School of Government on the subjects Local Planning and Development, Integrated Program Management and Statistics for Public Management; and in the John Gokongwei School of Management of the Ateneo de Manila University on the subjects Business Statistics, and Operations Management.
Assistant Professor Agbayani obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1982 and his Master of Business Administration in 1987, both from the University of the Philippines.
